Since its establishment, WAVA has been actively involved in a wide range of issues including inhumane slaughter of abandoned pets in Japan, the torture of dogs and cats in South Korea, and commercialisation of Australian wildlife. We affiliate and coorperate with animal protection organisations in Australia, Japan, the U.S and other parts of the world. WAVA works closely with Japanese government authorities, frequently providing information and assistance to improve animal welfare.
