We promote veganism through education and outreach. we do investigations of a variety of factory farms and rescue hens from battery cage facilities, and documentaries of our work can be found on our website, www.ca4a.org.

Compassionate Action for Animals' Rescue Campaign is an ongoing effort to educate the public and save the lives of individual hens. This involves entering factory farms to investigate the appalling conditions in which the birds are forced to live. We remove as many sick and injured hens as we have homes for, then release documented evidence of neglect and suffering to the media. We adhere to strict nonviolence and biosecurity guidelines. In doing so we hope to inspire others to adopt a non-speciesist respect for life, make compassionate choices, and take action on behalf of animals We believe that all of our actions must embody honesty, open-mindedness, and accuracy. We will not lie or distort the truth to further our cause. Furthermore, we believe that our actions should not be effective based on secrecy, but should be done in an open manner. We will take responsibility for the outcomes of our actions. Our standard of nonviolence is to treat everyone, including opponents and other activists, with courtesy and respect. We will avoid engaging in verbal or physical abuse and hostility. This goes hand in hand with our commitment to integrity.
