    Detailed Information:
SAEN was founded in 1996 with the express purpose of opposing animal experimentation. Since that time we have made major progress in exposing the truth about animal experimentation to the general public. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have seen or heard television, radio, and newspaper stories about animal experimentation that have resulted from SAEN campaigns. We have ended animal experiments and taken animals out of the hands of vivisectors.

Our struggle against animal experimentation has generated major media coverage over forty (40) times from 2000 - 2003. SAEN campaigns have been covered by media in over 15 states. Citizens of Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland (OR), San Diego, San Francisco, Detroit, Cincinnati, Austin (TX), Nashville, Madison (WI), St Louis, New Haven (CT), and many other cities have seen SAEN in action.

National media outlets from the Associated Press to the Chronicle of Higher Education have covered our work to stop animal abuse in laboratories. SAEN has been successful with the media, because we perform in-depth investigations that expose terrible instances of animal suffering. We have credibility with the media, because we uncover the truth and take on the worst abusers of animals.
