    Since 1982, the Center has focused on studying human-animal relationships and communicating its findings to scientists and the public. It is committed to expanding knowledge of the interrelationships between people, animals, and their environment, and all aspects of human-animal interaction and welfare including companion, farmed domestic species, and wildlife.
