Organization dedicated to fighting cruelty against those species traditionally classified as companion animals. Our goal is to ensure that people who commit violent crimes against companion animals spend significant time in prison. We are working for a federal law to impose a mandatory 5 year prison sentence for anyone convicted of aggravated animal cruelty.
We monitor cruelty cases nationwide and urge police, judges and prosecutors to take animal cruelty cases seriously.
