League for Earth and Animal Protection (LEAP)
The League for Earth and Animal Protection (LEAP) is a national, nonprofit organization established in 1992. The founders adopted the philosophy that animals and nature need protection, should be given legal standing in the courts, and deserve "moral" consideration. LEAP teaches a compassionate way of living based on the principle of Ahimsa, nonviolence towards all living things, because this way of being brings greater overall satisfaction to all beings who have interests.
LEAP is dedicated to educating the public and its members on issues ranging from vegetarianism, vivisection, dissection, and animals for entertainment and sport to environmental destruction and ecologically unsound policies. LEAP informs via public speaking, special events, and information-based campaigns.
The Executive Committee and its officers receive no compensation, and LEAP activities are supported by unpaid volunteers; thus, all donated funds are applied directly towards the League's goals. Membership fees wholly support LEAP's educational and advocacy programs.

Please contact LEAP if you would like to be member, volunteer your time, or donate much needed funds.
