    Detailed Information:
Iowa has an abundance of wildlife with few large game animals, except white-tailed deer. Rabbits, coyotes, foxes, raccoons and opossums are all native to Iowa. Iowa's open farmlands provide excellent nesting grounds for pheasants, quail and partridge. Hunter's travel to Iowa each year in search of a record buck. The white-tail deer population is increasing, allowing hunters an almost certain chance of going home with a deer.
