    Detailed Information:
    From the scorecard:
"The League of Humane Voters of New York City
(LOHV-NYC) is proud to release this scorecard, the first of its kind for the New York City legislature. This scorecard tracks the votes and sponsorship of humane legislation in the City Council for the 2004-2005 session. It is designed to hold legislators accountable to their constituents on action, inaction and votes which have profound impact on the welfare of animals."

While the release of the scorecard is especially pertinent to residents of New York City, it will also be of interest to the wider animal rights community. LOHV-NYC is showing that we, as activists and citizens, have the ability to create positive, fundamental change for animals through the political process.
