Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, Inc.

The Alliance is a not-for-profit corporation and umbrella organization for more than 100 (and growing) New York City-based animal care groups involved in placing and/or spaying and neutering the city's dogs and cats.
The Alliance works toward the goal, through a public-private partnership with the City of New York, that no New York City dog or cat of "reasonable" health and temperament should be killed merely because he or she does not have a home, according to its Web site.
