The Covance Campaign (TCC)
Since the 1980's there have been demos against Covance. It first started against Hazleton UK, where there where large marches and demos at the labs highlighting the cruelty going on there. Then in 1997, Hazleton changed to Covance Laboratories Ltd. Before Hazleton UK, there was an Imperial Tobacco Research Lab, where some of the famous Smoking Beagles experiments were conducted. There is a long history of animal abuse at the labs in Harrogate.
