SAVES, Inc.
(Spay, Alter, Vaccinate Every Stray) is a volunteer humane organization with roots firmly established on Eastern Long Island.
SAVES provides many services including:- Free Feline Neuter/Vaccination Clinics
- Trapping, spaying/neutering, vaccination, etc. of feral cats
- Financial assistance for spaying/neutering of companion felines for low and moderate-income households
- Insulated shelters for cat colonies
- Distribution of cat food to cat colony caretakers
- Management of numerous cat colonies
- Assistance with the rescue, socialization and adoption of feral kittens
- Emergency care for sick or injured felines
- Humane education and outreach
