Detailed Information:
The Animal Liberation Collective is an organization of individuals working to further the status, cause, and lives of non-human animals. The ALC operates out of an office located in the University Centre at the University of Guelph on the university campus. The members of the ALC work to educate students, professors, and the community about the abuses of animals within society. Each member is interested in different animal issues to differing degrees. This vast spectrum of interest creates a creates a strong force in an organization. With the Ontario Veterinary College and the Ontario Agricultural College located on campus the existence of the Animal Liberation Collective is particularly relevant. We create a balance to the systematic use of animals on campus.
