Equus Sanctuary
Equus Sanctuary rescues horses that haveserved man and then been cast aside. These horses are generally found neglected and traumatized at a middleman`s pen...waiting for the truck to take them on a horrific and long ride to a slaughterhouse. The whole process is brutal. We document this process with video and photos on our web site. But we also provide hope. We show before and after pictures of our rescued horses...and provide a host of related information. The site shows what we can do to help end the slaughter of America`s horses for human consumption in Europe.
