We are an association of more than 100 regional and nation-wide organizations as well as personal members. We strive for the abolition of any cruelty to animals. Our current main projects (about which you can read at our German pages) are: Campaign against experiments with primates Inclusion of animal protection into the German constitution Lobbying against genetic experiments with and genetic alteration of animals Lobbying against animal transports Federal Workgroup against Zoos and Circuses - in co-operation with LAV and EAR Federal workgroup for the welfare and rights of (stray) pigeons We also offer a series of booklets on topics such as Animal Rights, factory farming, genetic engineering, animal testing and alternative methods. At the moment, most of this material is available in German only, both printed and online.
