Institute for Animals and Society (IAS)
The IAS mission is to advance animal advocacy issues in public policy development by conducting scholarly research and analysis, providing education and training, and fostering cooperation with other social movements and interests.
The IAS envisions itself as a “think tank” that, by focusing on institutional change, raises the standard of public debate on animal rights, advances concerns about animals as a public policy issue, and positions animal rights as fundamental to a just, compassionate, and peaceful society.
