    Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary is a newly formed non-profit organization located in Woodstock, NY with a mission to educate the public about the treatment of animals used for food. The shelter takes in cows, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, turkey and other farm animals who are rescued from stockyards, negligent farmers and even factory farms. It is a place where people can come face to face with the animals that most call “dinner” and learn about the devastating effects of modern-day agribusiness on the animals, the environment and human health. Open to the public from April-October, Saturdays and Sundays 11-4 or by appontment.
