This site contains materials by law professors Gary Francione and Anna Charlton and their students in the Rutgers University School of Law course "Animal Rights: Theory and Practice." Francione and Charlton have taught the course for over a decade.
Materials include legal and regulatory documents from actions litigated by Francione and Charlton. These actions involve the right of a student to object to vivisection or dissection in the classroom; hunting and wildlife issues, hunter "harassment," wild horses, animal sacrifices, and animal care committees.
