Nebraska Italian Greyhound Rescue
Finding unwanted Italian Greyhound pets new loving homes. Covering Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota and surrounding areas.
We are a network of foster homes providing housing for our Italian Greyhound foster dogs as long as needed. Most of our dogs come direclty from previous owners, but we do on occasion get them from neglectful situations, provide medical attention and rehabilitation. All of our adoptable dogs have had a checkup, are up-to-date on shots, and are on heartworm preventative. We reveal as much history about each dog that is known. Some come with registration paperwork and most come with some medical history if provided by the previous owners. We evaluate each dog and try to find the best home for each situation. Contrary to some beliefs our dogs are usually social like those in a store.
