Endangered Species International
More than thirteen million species remain to be discovered in the world; most of them highly threatened since they are located within regions of great habitat destruction. Amongst the 1.8 million species inventoried, more than 16,100 are likely to become extinct in the very near future if no aggressive actions are taken. At the mean time, their natural pristine ecosystems and associated native indigenous people are vanishing at an alarming rate.
At Endangered Species International, we are strongly committed to reversing the trend of human induced species extinction and preserving their vital ecosystems. Our programs are measurable, concrete, positive, scientific, educational, apolitical, sustainable, and beneficial to indigenous people.
