New Tampa Vegans is a group based in New Tampa that gets together for friends and fun in a vegan environment.
A few of us realized that there weren't any veg groups in the New Tampa area. So, we decided to go ahead and create one!
We wanted to provide something a little closer to home that would focus on the fun aspects of being vegan. We hope to help those who have already made the switch to veganism to find a group of like-minded friends in the local area to spend time with in a fun atmosphere.
We also hope provide a safe and comfortable haven to inform those who are not yet aware of the benefits of veganism. Our events are open to not only vegans, but also to vegetarians, raw-foodists, veg-curious, and non-veg. Families, singles, and children are all welcome. Some events will benefit local animal-friendly non-profit organizations.
