Stray from the Heart is a nonprofit organization that provides foster care, veterinary care and loving homes for dogs in need in the US, Puerto Rico, and Ecuador. Their volunteers work with domestic and international outreach organizations, including the NYC Center for Animal Care and Control. Since 2000, the organization has saved 1,500 homeless dogs. They are beginning to develop their first permanent adoption center.
